Not quite there yet.

The graphics were good, I'll give you that much. Try to work on your menus, though. And the worse part... the background. It didn't move. You're basically sitting there, doing nothing. You can move up and down, but there's no boundary. I actually kinda played with that by holding up and seeing if I died... which I, of course, didn't. It needs some work, but it's not awful.
Try fixing some stuff and submitting an update, I'd like to see where you can go with this.

That was amazing! The graphics were great, the story was good, and the way it was put together made you really feel like you were part of it... Just one little thing, when you blow fire on the first guy's wings, it looks like his wings become pizzas! ^_^

Um...

What was with the trees and buildings... or... large dominos, whatever they were...? I mean, all they did was get in your way of seeing things.

And how do you lose .5 HP? Isn't 1 Hit Point just that? You get hit, and lose a point?

Anyway, the game was okay graphics-wise, until the boss. That kinda broke the whole idea. So work on sound, enemies, some better weapon animation... and it'll be an awesome game.

Blech.

The controls are hard to get used to, there seems to be a wierd lag between hitting "A" and having the guy attack (doesn' happen with shield though, hm...). The cat things are fine, but the other gladiator was almost impossible to kill! I hit him about 20 times and he didn't die! I did though, of course.
The graphics were good. The music? Got pretty annoying... pretty quickly.
Overall, could have been better, but was good.
